At the Salaam Centre, families receive hands-on support that makes a real, day-to-day difference like weekly food parcels for families in need; emergency legal help for asylum seekers; rental support for those without housing; mental health care for children and adults who've experienced trauma; and vocational training to help build new careers.
And it doesn't take much to make a big impact! £10 a month means a family won't go hungry, £100 can keep a displaced family sheltered for an entire month, and £250 funds a three-month mental health program for a child affected by war.
One of the Salaam Centre's most impactful initiatives helps Palestinian students continue their education after being displaced. Many were studying medicine and other key fields before conflict interrupted their futures.
