Metropolitan Medical Center College of Arts, Science & Technology (MMC CAST) is a private, non-profit institution located in Sta. Cruz, Manila, devoted to producing globally competitive healthcare professionals who embody excellence, compassion, and integrity.
Established in 1976 as the Metropolitan Hospital College of Nursing, the school was founded with a mission to provide high-quality nursing education guided by Christian values and professional discipline. Over the years, the institution has evolved into a multidisciplinary college offering a wide range of health-related programs. In 2009, it was renamed MMC CAST to reflect its expanded academic offerings and broader commitment to the field of medical sciences and allied health education.
Today, MMC CAST offers seven major programs: Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Dental Medicine, and Bachelor’s degrees in Medical Technology, Nursing, Pharmacy, Radiologic Technology, and Physical Therapy. Each program is designed to equip students with strong theoretical knowledge and hands-on clinical experience through modern laboratories and hospital-based training.
The college consistently produces outstanding results in national licensure examinations, demonstrating its commitment to educational excellence. It has achieved 100% passing rates in Pharmacy and Physical Therapy, 91.89% in Nursing, 93.75% in Medical Technology, and above-average performance in Medicine and Radiologic Technology—solidifying its reputation as one of the most trusted healthcare education institutions in the country.
